Genius Ad's - My Favourite Clever Campaigns
If an ad campaign gets you talking, ranting, thinking, laughing or even simply catches your attention, then the ad has done its job. The campaign has had the desired effect of grabbing your attention. As they say...
Theres no such thing as bad publicity (so to speak).
Almost like when you find that the cheekiest, naughty and sometimes rebel children get the most attention. You know deep down that they screaming and running around like a headless chicken to get a reaction from you, but sometimes you can't help yourself but give in and give them the attention that they're longing for. That's clever advertising.
Here's a selection of clever marketing campaigns to make you smile on a grey Friday afternoon.
Nike is one of my favourite brands in the world - if you haven't already guessed.
I look to them for inspiration in everything they do. Absolute gods of the market. This Nike run campaign is a piece of pure genius. No names, no product push, no call to actions, just minimal, simple advertising with a clever twist and the swoosh does the rest. Amazing.
YKM Bags. A playful little twist on standard shopping bag. Another simple idea, that is eye-catching and will spread the word on the street - all by themselves!
Landrover, playful campaigns like this lend themselves well with the automotive industry. Products with a lot of features to talk about, sometimes less is more to entice your customers in order to discover the rest themselves.
MINI are another one of my overall favourites. I actually struggled to chose one ad because they have so many amazing campaigns. Usually cheeky in nature and again, short, simple concepts. MINI absolutely boss the concept of changing perceptions, and these strategic marketing creatives are amongst my favourite from the brand.
Y Yoga Centre shows that will the smallest mediums you can still get a big message across, you can be just as creative with your merchandise as you can with any other form of media.
I hope these quirky marketing ads have brought a little joy to your Friday and you find them as inspiring as I did.
